Toca Life: Hospital is a premium educational game released by Toca Boca AB for mobile devices. It is an entry in the popular, long-running Toca series of games, and this time, it has a medical theme that aims to teach kids more about health and their bodies.

Toca Life: Hospital tackles a similar theme to another title in the series called Toca Pet Doctor. The main distinction is that the latter focuses on the health and welfare of pets. Whereas the former focuses on human beings instead, letting players experience life inside a hospital.

What is it all about?

Toca Life: Hospital takes kids on a journey in the daily going-on inside a medical hospital. They will get to see and experience various events, such as sick people getting their illnesses treated or babies being delivered and born into the world. It even tackles the more mature, but just as important concept of death and saying goodbye to loved ones, plus everything else in between.

There are five floors to be explored in the game, namely the basement, main entrance, lab and treatment, family care, and general care sections. Each one has its purpose that contributes to the operation of the facility as a cohesive whole. Children can move characters around each floor using an elevator and learn more about the functions and equipment needed for specific illnesses or medical tests.

Then, there is a built-in recording feature that lets kids record certain events in the game as they are playing it. In addition, they can even narrate and it will capture and include their voices as part of the clip. One thing to note is that while it tries to depict various situations inside a hospital, they aren't always accurate. This is still a game for kids after all.
